Making Movies – Way back when . .

20 Nov

In 1999 we shot a trailer for a potentially ‘pending’ movie with a working title of HELLION (THE JESUS GENE). Later it was cut into my first short that I’d originated on Super16MM film: PHOENIX (1997)- becoming the 2006 DragonCon (USA) ‘first prize’ winning wee movie of HELIX.

I recently found some pics from that era… here is Hellion (the trailer) and Helix (the extended DragonCon winner).

Long ago…

HELLION: Future thieves steal the soul of Christ… at the moment of his death!

HELIX: The world’s first genetic time traveler David Sumner (Robert Pulvertaft) is a chess piece, a pawn to be sacrificed in the name of science. Dark forces unleashed by ‘The Client’ (Prunella Scales) prey upon this vulnerable man.
